Vintage! “The Tale of Little Pig Robinson” is a children’s book written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter. The story is set in a seaside town and follows the adventures of Little Pig Robinson, a young and somewhat naive pig who lives with his aunts, Miss Porcas and Miss Dorcas.

One day, Aunt Porcas sends Little Pig Robinson to the market to buy groceries. On his way, he encounters various characters, including a sailor cat and a fox. Little Pig Robinson is invited to join a sailing expedition, and he excitedly agrees.

The adventure takes him to the island of the “Gentleman with the Nose,” where he becomes the guest of honor at a feast. Unbeknownst to Little Pig Robinson, the fox from earlier in the story is scheming to make him the main course of the feast. However, with the help of the sailor cat and other animal friends, Little Pig Robinson manages to escape just in time.

The tale combines elements of adventure and humor with Beatrix Potter’s intricate illustrations. While not as well-known as some of her other works, “The Tale of Little Pig Robinson” retains the author’s whimsical storytelling style and is a charming addition to her collection of children’s stories.
